It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the State that the matter has become infructuous as the subject matter of dispute involved in the present case is the selection process of the year 2011, which by now must have been finalized. In such view of the matter the writ application is dismissed. 4.

However, it is open for the Petitioner to file appropriate application to revive the writ application in the event the cause of action still survives.
