The petitioner files this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to grant the benefit of Headmaster to the petitioner with effect from the date when the DPC sat and considered with effect from July, 2010.

As the petitioner has not been extended with the benefit of promotion pursuant to the DPC and in the meantime he has retired from service, the petitioner is not entitled to get the benefit as claimed by him in the writ petition.
