This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.1800 (C) of 2017 was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No. 1800 of 2017.

The grievance of the petitioner is that his request to issue 'No Objection Certificate' to appear in the interview for the post of professor in neurosurgery in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar pursuant to advertisement vide no. AIIMS/BBSR/REG/FAC2017/01 dated 7th March, 2017 has not been acceded to. The learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal vide order dated 7th September, 2017 passed the following order:

".....Considering the submission, it appears that the Tribunal vide order dtd. 18.07.2017 directed respondent No.2 to consider issuance of NOC, but as the order of the Tribunal has not yet been complied with, within the stipulated time period, respondent no.2 is directed to comply the interim order, within a period of three days and issue NOC, if there is no other legal impediment and the said order be communicated to the applicant soon thereafter. A copy of the order be furnished to the learned standing counsel in course of the day. M.P. is diposed of.

At the time of hearing today, Mr. B. B. Choudhury, advocate for the petitioner submitted that the matter has been rendered infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous.
