2. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode. Order No 2.
Even though the present writ petition has been filed challenging the show-cause notice issued in the Departmental Proceeding, Mr. Pattnaik, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during pendency of the matter, the proceeding has been disposed of vide order dated 26.12.2018 with imposition of punishment. It is also submitted that the petitioner does not want to challenge the said order of punishment passed in Departmental Proceeding and no appeal has also been filed.

Since the petitioner has retired from service w.e.f 31.5.2022, this Court, in view of the changed scenario, while disposing the writ petition directs opp. party No.3 to take effective steps for sanction of the pensionary benefits as due and admissible in favour of the petitioner.
