1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

3. In this Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks a direction from this Court to the Opposite Parties to pay him certificate amount under Annexure-1 with further interest accrued after 20.01.2017.

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner's father had made a fixed deposit for an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- in Account No.1 dated 20.01.2016 under the 're-investment plan' with the Opposite Party No.4/ Secretary, Madhyakhanda Services Co-Operative Society Ltd., Madhyakhanda, in the district of Nayagarh for a period of one year. The maturity date was 20.01.2017 and the amount was Rs.1,09,250/-. He further submits that the Petitioner has given a representation to the Opposite Party No.2/ Collector, Nayagarh ventilating his

// 2 // grievance. But the same is pending before the authority since 18.05.2022. Hence, he submits that the Opposite Party No.2/ Collector, Nayagarh may be directed to dispose the representation of the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

In such view of the matter, the Opposite Party No.2/ Collector, Nayagarh is directed to dispose of the said representation of the Petitioner and pass a reasoned order within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a copy of this order along with a copy of the Writ Petition. This Court hopes that the Opposite Party No.2/ Collector, Nayagarh shall take effective steps for helping the Petitioner in getting the money released as early as possible.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
