Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner. 3.
The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the following relief:- "i)direct the respondents to consider the case of the applicant for regularization in the post of Watchmancum-Sweeper, laying vacant under Sub-Treasury, Karanjia taking into consideration his long service on DLR basis as Watchman-cum-Sweeper as well as the recommendation of the Respondent No.4 and thereby quash Annexure-9;
ii) pass such other order (s) / direction (s) as may be deemed fit and proper in the bonafide interest of Justice".

Counter Affidavit has been filed by the opposite parties and in the said counter affidavit, it has been specifically indicated that the present Petitioner is continuing against a contractual vacancy in the post of Peon w.e.f. 21.03.2012. Since the Petitioner in the
// 2 // meantime has already completed more than six years of contractual service, his claim for absorption in the said post be considered by Opposite Party No.2, taking into account the reported decision of this Court in the case of Patitapaban Dutta Dash and Others vs. State of Odisha & Others i.e. W.P.(C) No.19951 of 2020 and judgment dated 09.09.2021.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition (OAC) is disposed of.
