ORDER

16.8.2022 4 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Mr. M.R.Khatua, learned counsel appearing for the appellant has submitted that the objection raised in the appeal has been settled outside the court proceeding and to that effect an affidavit has been filed by the appellant on 26.4.2022.

3. From the said affidavit it appears that a permanent alimony to the extent of Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees eight lakh) as determined by the learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar in Civil Proceeding No. 443 of 2020 has been received by the appellant. That apart, her articles have been returned by the respondent. It has been further stated in paragraph-6 of the said affidavit that there remains no further claim from the appellant. It has been agreed upon that they will not engage themselves in any further litigation out of their marital relationship. Mr. Khatua, therefore, is instructed to withdraw this appeal. A memorandum has been filed seeking withdrawal of the appeal. The same is taken on record.

3. In the result, this appeal stands dismissed as withdrawn.
