Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 02.11.2021 in connection with Hindol P.S. Case No.33 of 2014 corresponding to C.T. Case No.12 of 2021 pending before the learned Presiding Officer, Designated Court under the OPID Act, Cuttack for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 406/420/468/471/120-B of IPC read with Sections 4/5/6 of Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act and Section 6 of Odisha Protection of Interests of Depositors Act. 4.

Considering the submissions made, materials on record, the period of detention already undergone and the fact that charge sheet has already been submitted in the case, coupled with the fact that there is no direct allegation against the petitioner but he has been implicated in the case only because

of his position as Executive Director of the Company, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting without fail. 5.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
