Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Bissamcuttack P.S. Case No. 73 of 2021 corresponding to T.R. Case No. 62 of 2021 pending in the court of learned ADJ-cumSpecial Judge, Gunupur for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C)/27-A/29 of NDPS Act. 4.

Having regard to the nature of allegations and the fact that the seized contraband is more than commercial quantity being 78 Kg. 570 grams, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
