This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to opposite party no.1 to give him promotion to the post of Asst. Executive Engineer (Civil) in the Department of Water Resources and grant service benefits w.e.f. 22.10.2014 within a stipulated time.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the petitioner has already got promotion and as such, he does not want to press his prayer to that extent. So far as other prayer is concerned, the petitioner may be permitted to file a fresh representation before the authority highlighting the grievances, and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time to which learned State Counsel has no objection.

5. As agreed by learned counsel for the parties, this

Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh representation within a period of fifteen days from today ventilating his grievances before the authority. In the event, the petitioner files such representation along with this order, the authority shall consider and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months thereafter.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
