1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

2. Learned counsel for the Utkal University fairly submits that the B.P. Ed. certificates were issued to the candidates on 13.09.2021, which is before the date of submission.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have qualified in the computer based test and they have been rejected due to the non-furnishing of certificate. The certificates of the petitioners bearing the authority of Principal, DIET, Narsinghpur, Cuttack were issued on 13.09.2021. Subsequently, they were forwarded to the College on the same day. Premising on the said averments, the rejection of the candidates is erroneous.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though similarly placed persons have already been appointed, the petitioners have been left behind and their candidatures have been rejected frivolously. The petitioners were found to be meritorious but due to the objection raised by the authority, they were left behind.

5. In such view of the matter, let the Directorate of Secondary Education, Bhubaneswar include the present petitioners in the merit list, if they are eligible.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
