1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.
3. In this CRLMP, the Petitioner challenges the action of the Opposite Parties in not conducting proper investigation in Phiringia P.S. Case No.141 of 2022.
4. It appears that the Petitioner's complaint has already been registered as Phiringia P.S. Case No.141 of 2022. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Investigating Officer of the case is not taking appropriate steps.
5. In such view of the matter, this CRLMP is disposed of directing the Opposite Party No.3/ Superintendent of Police, Kandhamal, District- Khandhamal to call for the record from the concerned Police Station, examine the
// 2 // same and give appropriate direction to the concerned Police Station for expeditious and effective investigation of the aforesaid P.S. case.
6. The Petitioner is at liberty to submit a copy of this order along with a grievance petition before the Opposite Party No.3/ Superintendent of Police, Kandhamal, District- Khandhamal within fifteen working days from today. In such an event, appropriate direction shall be given by the Opposite Party No.3/ Superintendent of Police, Kandhamal, DistrictKhandhamal to the Investigating Officer of the case within ten days therefrom.
7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
