This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 05.11.2020 in connection with GRP Cuttack Bhubaneswar P.S. Case No.101 of 2020 corresponding to T.R. No. 426 of 2020 pending in the Court of learned 2nd Addl. Special Judge, Bhubaneswar for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) of N.D.P.S. Act. 4.

It is alleged that petitioner being associated with two other persons was found in possession of contraband ganja of 41kgs. 100gms. in the railway station. It is submitted that seven different bags of different sizes were kept on the platform which contained the contraband ganja, but the petitioner had nothing to do with the same. She was arrested only suspicion and entangled in the case. 5.

Considering the submissions as above, the materials on record

and the period of detention in custody without commencement of trial, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that the petitioner shall furnish cash security of Rs.50,000/- and further she shall not left the territorial jurisdiction of the Court without obtaining leave.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
