The Original Application No.2236 (C) of 2017 was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No. 2236 of 2017.

Alleging that the petitioner, driver under opposite party no.4Inspector-in-charge, Reserve Police, Jagatsinghpur, being entangled in a false charge by the police on the basis of FIR lodged by one Rupali Mallick on 23rd December, 2013, has made a prayer to quash the second show cause notice dated 17th July, 2017 issued by the Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur vide (Annexure-3). 4.

At the time of hearing today, Sri J. Gupta, Advocate for the petitioner submitted that by efflux of time, the matter has been rendered infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructous.
