Involving a proceeding U/s.26(2) of the O.S.S. Act, 1958 vide Settlement Appeal No.273 of 2016, there appears, there is already disposal of a Writ Petition vide W.P.(C) No.36310 of 2021 by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. There is already a direction for expeditious disposal of such proceeding at least within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of the order. This case involves the following prayer:- "It is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court be kind enough to issue writ/writs, order/orders directing the O.P. No.3 to dispose of the proceeding u/s.22(2) of the Orissa Survey & Settlement Act, 1958, bearing Case No.273/2016 forthwith, and pass such order order/orders as may be deemed fit and proper."

For the selfsame cause second round of litigation is not maintainable. There is no possibility of passing any further order for early disposal of the Settlement Appeal No.273 of 2016, as there is

// 2 // already a direction for the said purpose in disposal of the W.P.(C) No.36310 of 2021. The writ petition, therefore, stands dropped. 3.

Rejection of this writ petition shall, however, not stand in disposal of the proceeding in terms of the direction in W.P.(C) No.36310 of 2021.
