The Original Application No.227(C) of 2019 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC(OAPC) No.227 of 2019. 2.

Forty three numbers of Petitioners, working as Junior Engineer (Agriculture) on contractual basis under different Office(s) of Executive Engineer (Agriculture) in Group-B Post prayed for regularization of their service. The grievance of the Petitioners is that even though their names were recommended for regularization and gradation list was directed to be prepared as per the data furnished, no action has been taken by the competent authority.

At the time of hearing today, Mr. L.K. Mohanty, counsel for the Petitioners submitted that the Petitioners are no more interested to pursue the matter as the relief claimed for does not survive. Hence, he seeks to withdraw the writ petition.
