Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "It is therefore most humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to direct the Opp. Parties more particularly seeking direction to the Convener, PG(Medical) Counselling Committee, Odisha-2022 to permit the petitioner to participate in the Mop-Up round counseling of P.G (Medical ) Course- 2022-23 in accordance with the terms of the Guidelines for admission into candidates for Post Graduate (Medical) Courses-2022-23, in considering his representations under Annexures-7 & 8.
And/or to quash letter no.-111 dt.10.11.2022 issued by the Convener, PG (Medical) Counselling Committee, Odisha2022(Annexure-5). If the Opposite parties fail to show cause and/or show insufficient cause then to make the Rule absolute."

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed representations vide Annexures-7 & 8 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners. 7.
