Heard the submission of respective parties.

This Writ Petition involves a challenge to the order at Annexure-3.

Reading through the order at Annexure-3 as well as the communication at Annexure-4 this Court finds, the communication at Annexure-4 involves a direction to the Petitioner to visit the Regional Passport Office in between 10:00A.M. to 2:00P.M. on any working days. There is also disclosure about return of all original documents and photocopies to the applicant. It appears, the Petitioner instead of approaching the Office of the Passport Authority has straightway approached this Court. For the opinion of this Court; any such dispute still survives, can be attended to by the competent authority on the attending of the Petitioner at the Office of the Regional Passport Authority. Even though this Court finds, there is indication of deficiency through Annexure-4, however, considering that the

// 2 // Petitioner is already in possession of a ticket to move oversees, this Court directs, defects, if any, be intimated to the Petitioner on her attending to the Office of the Regional Passport Authority and the Petitioner may also be provided with opportunity to resolve any dispute till now on her attending to the Office of the Regional Passport Authority tomorrow (24th November, 2022) in between time specified in Annexure-4. In such event the Regional Passport Officer shall do well in finalizing the issue involving renewal of passport by day after tomorrow (25th November, 2022). It is open to the Petitioner to draw the attention of the Regional Passport Officer to the judgment of this Court in the case of Asutosh Amrit Patnaik Vrs. State of Orissa & Ors. in W.P.(C) No.4834 of 2022, while taking a final decision on the aspect of renewal of passport.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above order. 5.
