Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

Even though the present Writ Petition has been filed with a prayer to quash the order of punishment dated 27.11.2017 passed by the Disciplinary Authority under Annexure-8, but it is found that the Petitioner challenging such order has preferred an appeal before Opposite Party No.1 under Annexure-9. 4.

It is submitted that the said appeal is yet to be disposed of by the Appellate Authority i.e. Opposite Party No.1. 5.

In view of the same, this Court while disposing the Writ Petition directs the Opposite Party No.1 to dispose of the appeal alleged to have been filed by the Petitioner on 26.12.2017 under Annexure-9 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order, if there is no other legal impediment and if it has not yet been disposed of in the meantime. 6.
