This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 13.07.2022 in connection with Jeypore Town P.S. Case No. 166 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 713 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Jeypore for the alleged commission of the offence under Section-394 of I.P.C.

It is alleged that the petitioner and another person committed robbery in the house of the informant and stole cash of Rs.8,500/- and grocery items worth Rs.35,000/-. A sum of Rs.5000/- has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The co-accusedBikash Sabat, who stands on the same footing has been released on bail as per the order passed by this Court in BLAPL No. 8181 of 2022. Therefore, I find no reason to treat the petitioner differently. 5.

Considering the above facts, I am inclined to allow the petition for bail of the petitioner. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the Court in seisin over the

matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the conditions that he shall personally appear before the I.I.C. of Jeypore Town Police Station on every Sunday at 10.00 A.M. for a period of six months and such facts shall be certified by the I.I.C. to the concerned Court once in a month.

Accordingly, the BLAPL is disposed of.
