This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate.

This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner with a direction to opposite party No.1 to disburse the retiral dues calculated under Annexure-2 and Annexure-3 to him along with other terminal benefits which he is entitled to as per law, within a stipulated period of time.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the dues which are payable to the Petitioner has been already calculated by the Sr. Administrative Officer of the office of Directorate of Printing, Stationary and Publication, Odisha, Cuttack vide his Office Order dated 3364 of 19.09.2022 under Annexure-2. Further, the pensionary benefits as due and admissible to the Petitioner are also being calculated and quantified in the statement under Annexure-3.

// 2 // The said statement further reveals the pensionary amount payable to the Petitioner.

In such view of the matter, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Opposite Party No.1 be directed to sanction the same and release the pensionary/arrear amount to the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time.

Learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the State-Opposite Parties submits that let the Petitioner be approached the authority, i.e., Opposite Party No.1, who shall take a decision in the matter in view of Annexures-2 and 3 within a stipulated period of time in accordance with law.

Considering such submission and without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission by directing the Petitioner to file fresh representation before the Opposite Party No.1 indicating clearly the total amount which is outstanding and payable to him within a period of two weeks from today and in the event the same is filed before the Opposite Party No.1, the Opposite Party No.1 shall consider and dispose of the same in the light of Annexures-3 and the pensionary/arrear amount, if any, payable to the Petitioner shall be disbursed in his favour within a period of two months from the date of filing such representation.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, this Writ petition is disposed of.
