The Petitioner is a proprietor of M/s. S.R. Agency, which is stated to have availed two loans i.e. a term loan for Rs.15.00 lakhs and another cash credit loan for Rs.10.00 lakhs for business purpose, on 8th October, 2018 from Union Bank of India, Angul Branch. Both the loan accounts were declared NPA on 30th April, 2021. On account of financial indiscipline, thereafter recovery process under the SARAFESI Act, 2002 has been initiated. 3.
At the time of hearing, counsel for the Petitioner states that the present writ petition has become infructuous in view of both the loan accounts having been closed on 2nd February, 2022 upon deposit of the outstanding liability.
