This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with C.T. Case No.6418 of 2021 arising out of Mancheswar P.S. Case No.379 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar for alleged commission of offences under sections 294/341/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Perused the F.I.R.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the offences are triable by Magistrate and taking into account the submission made by the learned counsel for the State that the injured

// 2 // Biswajit Sahoo has sustained simple injury and that there is no criminal antecedent against the petitioner and the fact that the only non-bailable offence is under section 506 of the Indian Penal Code, the interim order dated 23.12.2021 is made absolute.

The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
