This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. 3.

Heard Mr. B.K. Dash, learned counsel for the State Information Commission.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to the Opposite Parties to provide information as applied for under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (for short 'the Act') within a stipulated period.

It is submitted by Mr. Dash, learned counsel for the State Information Commission that redressing the aforesaid grievance, the Petitioner has filed a complaint under Section 18 of the Act, which is pending for consideration. Hence, interest of justice will be best served, if a direction is made for early disposal of the said complaint in accordance with law.

Taking into consideration the submission made by Mr. Dash, learned counsel for the State Information Commission and on perusal of the notice issued by the Commission under Annexure-6, it appears that Complaint Case No.1227 of 2020 has

// 2 // been filed by the Petitioner, which is pending for consideration. It also appears that there are some defects in filing the complaint made by the Petitioner, which are not removed. 7.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event the Petitioner removes the defects in Complaint Case No.1227 of 2020 within a period of two weeks hence, the Commission shall do well to consider the complaint filed under Sections 18 of the Act in accordance with law. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
