This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.

The Petitioner in this writ petition assails the quantum of conversion fee directed to be paid in OLR Case Nos.2283 and 2284 of 2021.

Mr. Ray, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the aforesaid OLR cases were filed by the Petitioner under Section 8A of the O.L.R. Act, 1960 for conversion of the land to be utilized for homestead purpose. Although conversion fee for adjacent land was fixed for Rs.30,000/- per acre, but the Tahasildar, Pattamundai in the aforesaid OLR cases has directed the Petitioner to pay conversion fee of Rs.3,00,000/- per acre. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

In course of hearing, Mr. Ray, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has a remedy under Section 58 of the O.L.R. Act, 1960 to file an appeal against the order impugned herein. In that view of the matter, he prays for withdrawal of the writ petition to avail the statutory remedy.

Considering such submission, this writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
