Heard Mr. S.K. Dash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr. S. Jena, learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Department and Mr. D.N. Rath, learned counsel for caveator. 3.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to approve her appointment as the Principal-in-Charge -cum-Secretary of Pratapsasan Higher Secondary School, as proposed on 17.06.2022, without being persuaded by the guidelines of the Higher Education Department, which has been quashed by this Court. 4.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is the senior most reader and is in-charge of the Principal, Pratapsasan Higher Secondary School and that highlighting the grievance, the petitioner has made a detailed representation to the opposite party no.1 vide Annexure-8 and direction may be given to consider and dispose of the same, within a stipulated time, to which learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Department has no objection.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.1 to take a

decision on the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-8, and pass appropriate reasoned order in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner. It is made clear that status quo, as on today, with regard to the functioning in the post of Principal-in-Charge of the college in question shall be maintained by the parties till the matter is decided by opposite party no.1.
