Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 16.06.2021 in connection with Kalinga Nagar (Duburi) P.S. Case No. 145 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 772 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Jajpur Road, Jajpur for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 302/ 326/ 341/ 323/354/34 of the IPC.

Considering the severity of the allegations and availability of materials prima facie to show the involvement of the petitioners, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail. It is open to the petitioners to renew their prayer for bail after examination of some material witnesses during the trial in the court below.
