Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Phiringia P.S. Case No. 108 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 62 of 2021 pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Phulbani for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C)/25/29 of NDPS Act.

Considering the quantity of contraband seized, which is more than commercial quantity, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
