IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
WPC (OAPC) No. 175 of 2019 Kailash Sahu .....
Petitioner Mr. B. Dash, Adv.
Vs.
State of Odisha and others .....
Opposite Parties State Counsel
CORAM:
DR. JUSTICE B.R. SARANGI
ORDER
28.09.2022 Order No.
01.
This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2.
Request was made on behalf of the petitioner for adjournment of the matter. But on perusal of the writ petition, it appears that the petitioner has filed this writ petition in the year 2019 to quash the letter dated 23.07.2014 under Annexure-8 passed by opposite party no.3, i.e. after long lapse of more than five years. He further seeks direction to the opposite parties to appoint him as Junior Engineer (Civil) by relaxing his age limit. Prima facie, this writ petition is suffers from delay and laches. Therefore, the prayer made by the petitioner is not acceded to. Consequentially, the writ petition merits no consideration and the same is hereby dismissed.
