This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Order No 2.

Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Quash the impugned order, dated 27.02.2018 passed by the Respondent No.1 by concurrently holding the same is bad, illegal and cannot be sustainable in the eye of law;

(ii) direct / order the State Respondents to give immediate appointment to the applicant under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme;

(iii) Pass such other Order(s) / issue direction(s) as may be deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case".

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that though vide Annexure-3 to the Writ Petition, Opposite Party No.3 was directed to take a decision on the petitioner's claim, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.3 to take a decision on Annexure-3 within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.3 to take a decision on Annexure-3 in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 6.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
