1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- Under the above circumstances, it is humbly prayed that the Original Application may be allowed and necessary direction/ directions may be made to the opposite parties to release the arrear salary of the applicant for the period from 07.06.1994 to 31.07.1998 and differential arrear salary for the period from 01.08.1998 to 30.09.2015 consequent upon fixation of pay in the revised scale of pay in terms of letter no.712 dated 17.01.2018 of the District Education Officer, Mayurbhanj within a time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Tribunal.

And any other order/orders, direction/directions as deem fit and proper may be made in the facts and circumstances of the case."

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has filed an application

// 2 // at Annexure-9 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.2, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period.

5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.
