This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

During course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner does not want to press this bail application at this juncture and prays for a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial of the case. It is submitted that the trial of the case has already commenced and eight witnesses have been examined out of total 20 witnesses. Accordingly, a prayer has been made to conclude the trial of the case within a stipulate period.

In such view of the matter, the bail application is disposed of as not pressed. However, this Court directs that the trial court to make an endeavor to expedite the trial in C.T. Case No.27 of 2019, arising out of Phiringia P.S. Case No.54 of 2019 and conclude the same preferably within a period of three months from the date of this order. In the event trial has not been completed within the stipulated

// 2 // time, it is open for the Petitioner to renew his prayer and file fresh application. In such event, the trial court shall consider the prayer of the Petitioner in accordance with law.

The BLAPL is disposed of with liberty as prayed for. 6.
