Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Direct the respondents to grant the benefits of pay protection to the applicants on the appointment to regular estt. In the light of the decision in O.A No.2250(c)/2004 and O.A No.1766 (c) / 2003, which has been affirmed by the Hon'ble High Court and Apex Court in W.P.(C) No.6895 and 22327 / 2013 and SLP(C) No. Diary No.40571/2017 and the benefits given to other similar persons vide Annexure ". 4.
Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has filed a representation at Annexure-8 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without
// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. It is observed that while considering the claim, the relevancy and effect of the order dated 16.09.2022 passed in W.P.(C) No.21419 of 2022 be taken into consideration. Petitioner is directed to produce a copy of the order passed in W.P.(C) No.21419 of 2022 and along with copy of this order before the Opposite Party No.1 within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of this order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
