This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Video Conferencing/Physical Mode). Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438 of Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Jagatpur P.S. Case No.0385 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.2188 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C. (R), Cuttack for the commission of the alleged offences punishable under sections 498-A/304-B/302 of the Indian Penal Code read with section 4 of the D.P. Act.

In view of the nature and gravity of the accusation alleged against the petitioner, I am not

// 2 // inclined to release the petitioner on anticipatory bail and it is ordered that in the event the petitioner surrenders and moves for bail before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered in accordance with law expeditiously. The case records shall be made available to the Court concerned.

The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
