This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

In this contempt petition, the petitioner challenges the willful deliberate disobedience of the order dated 13.09.2021 passed by this Court in CRLMP No.1385 of 2021, which has to be complied with within four weeks from the date of receipt of grievance petition along with the certified copy of the said order.

In such view of the matter, I.I.C., Rourkela Township, Sector-19 Police Station is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate steps
// 2 // keeping in mind the age of the petitioner. The son and his wife are directed to accommodate the petitioner to stay in their house peacefully without any disturbances. The police shall ensure that they stay there peacefully. This Court further directs that the police shall make a periodical visit to the said house.

The Contempt Proceeding is accordingly dropped. 6.
Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
