Heard Mr.T.Panigrahi, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.D.K.Mohanty, learned Addl. Standing Counsel. 3.

This is an application to amend the cause title of the writ petition.

Considering the submissions made and the grounds taken in the petition, prayer for amendment is allowed. Office is directed to make necessary corrections in the description of opposite party No.1.

According to Mr.Panigrahi the grievance of the petitioners

// 2 // in this writ petition pertains to inaction of the authorities in distributing the proportionate compensation amount which has already been awarded as per the notice dated 16.8.2016 under Annexure-2 issued by the Assistant Executive Engineer, Binjharpur Road & Building Sub-Division.

During course of hearing Mr.Panigrahi submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioners to file a detail representation with regard to their grievances before the Executive Engineer, P.W.D. (Road & Building), Panikoili (opposite party No.6) enclosing the copy of the R.O.R. under Annexure-1 and by giving the detail genealogy. He further prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.6 to take a decision on the same within a specific time period. 9.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioners to approach the opposite party No.6 by filing their representation through registered post along with copy of this order within a period of two weeks hence and in the event such a representation is filed the Executive Engineer, P.W.D. (Road & Building), Panikoili (opposite party No.2) is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of six months after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the parties who are interested in the land.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 11.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
