1.This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode. Order No.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners. 3.This application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed by the Petitioners with a prayer to quash the FIR in connection with G. Udayagiri P.S. Case No.83 of 2007 corresponding to G.R. Case No.251 of 2007 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C., G. Udayagiri.

4. It appears that the G.R. Case is of the year 2007. The case is lingering for non-examination of the prosecution witnesses. The Petitioners have come to this Court for quashment of the FIR.

5. However, this Court without quashing the FIR directs the learned J.M.F.C., G. Udayagiri to take all effective steps to procure the attendance of the aforesaid witnesses within six months hence. If the witnesses are not produced in the said case

// 2 // within the time stipulated, the court concerned shall close the evidence of the prosecution and then proceed to dispose of the case in the manner known to law, not later than two months of the closure of the prosecution evidence.

6. With the aforesaid order, this CRLMC stands disposed of.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
