This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in connection with Purusottampur P.S.Case No.596 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 581 of 2021 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C., Purusottampur for alleged commission of offences under sections 294, 341, 506, 323, 325, 307, 324/34

// 2 // of the Indian Penal Code.

Perused the F.I.R. annexed to the anticipatory bail application.

In view of the nature of accusation against petitioner no.1 Prahallad Bhuyan, the weapon used in the assault and the part of the body where assault was made, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to him, but taking into account the nature of accusation against petitioner no.2 Smt. Pramila Bhuyan @ Smt. Jhumpari Bhuyan, petitioner no.3 Maheswar Bhuyan and petitioner no.4 Rasmita Bhuyan, absence of any specific overt act against them and particularly petitioner nos.2 and 4 are ladies and on hearing the learned counsel for the State, I am inclined to release them on anticipatory bail and accordingly, this Court directs that in the event of arrest of the petitioner nos. 2, 3 and 4 in connection with the aforesaid case, they shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.

10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with one surety each for the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting officer with further conditions that they shall make themselves available for interrogation by the I.O.

Violation of any of the above conditions shall entail cancellation of bail.

The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
