This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The grievance of the Petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to the electricity charges in respect of Consumer No.615314090818.

Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the authorities under TPCODL have raised an inflated electricity bill. Being aggrieved, the Petitioner has submitted a representation to the S.D.O., Electrical Division, Bari-Opposite Party No.3 on 19th March, 2022 as at Annexure-2. He, therefore, prays for a direction for early disposal of the same. 4.

Taking into consideration the grievance of the Petitioner made in this writ petition, no direction can be given to the Opposite Party No.3 to dispose of her representation in view of the remedy available to the Petitioner under Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act, 2003.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that the Petitioner, if so advised, may work out her remedy available under law.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
