1. This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

3. In this CRLMC, the petitioner has made a prayer to quash the order dated 20.03.2020 passed by the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar in C.T. Case No.5599 of 2019, arising out of Khandagiri P.S. Case No.0652 of 2019, taking cognizance of the offences under Sections 498A/304B/ 306 I.P.C. read with Section 4 of the D.P. Act.

4. Having heard from both sides and upon consideration of materials on record, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the order of taking cognizance at this stage. However, the petitioner is at liberty to raise all the contentions raised in the present CRLMC before the trial court at the time of framing of charge and seek discharging. On such event, the trial court after hearing the petitioner shall pass order in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, this CRLMC is disposed of.

6. As the restrictions due to resurgence of Covid-19 are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a
