This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2022 in connection with Khurda Model P.S. Case No. 585 of 2022 corresponding to T.R. Case No.108 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned 1st Addl. Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, under NDPS Act, Khurda for the alleged commission of the offence under Section-21(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Considering the fact that the seized contraband is less than the commercial quantity being 10 grams of brown sugar, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the Court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose. 5.

Accordingly, the BLAPL is disposed of.
