1. This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

3. The petitioner has filed this CRLMC with a prayer to quash the criminal proceeding initiated against him in G.R. Case No.2673 of 2021, arising out of Dhama P.S. Case No.123 of 2013 for commission of offences under Sections 274/ 275/ 34 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of the learned S.D.J.M., Sambalpur.

4. The petitioner is stated to be a Reporter. However, the validity of the Identity Card of the petitioner is up to 01.07.2021.

5. Having heard from both sides and upon perusal of materials on record, there appears no ground to quash the aforesaid proceeding at this stage in the present petition.

6. Accordingly, the CRLMC is dismissed.

7. As the restrictions due to resurgence of Covid-19 are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a
