Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the informant.

This is an application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with G.R. Case No.2592 of 2021 arising out of Marsaghai P.S. Case No.452 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Kendrapara for alleged commission of offences under sections 493/417/294/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it is absolute false case.

It appears from the first information report that on the assurance of marriage and providing a job, the petitioner kept physical relationship with the informant continuously for three years, exploited her and ultimately he threatened to viral the nude photographs and video in the social media.

In view of the available material on record and the nature and gravity of accusation against the petitioner, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, it is observed that in the event the petitioner surrenders in the Court below and moves for bail before the learned Court below, the same shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible by the Courts below in accordance with law. The case records shall be made available to the Court concerned.

The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
