I.A. is filed for modification of the order dated 14th December, 2022 passed in CRLMC No.3765 of 2022 whereby the petitioner has been directed to surrender before the learned court below and released on bail subject to conditions. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order is required to be modified since the petitioner is having criminal antecedents.

Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the State objects to the modification on the ground that petitioner is involved in other criminal cases as has been claimed now.

Considering the above prayer, the Court is of the view that justice would be best served if the order dated 14th December, 2022 passed in CRLMC No.3765 of 2022 is modified with a further direction to extend the time to surrender before the learned court below.

Accordingly, it is ordered.

Consequently, IA stands allowed with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the learned S.D.J.M., Sundargarh on or before 13th January, 2023 in connection with Bhasma P.S. Case No.232 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.1558 of 2022 and apply for bail and in the event so moved, learned court below shall release him on bail with stringent conditions. 7.

The previous condition to confirm the criminal antecedent is hereby deleted.
