This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Tahasildar for settlement of a piece of land in favour of the Petitioner.

This matter was listed on 14th December, 2021 and while adjourning this matter to 11th January, 2022 a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court directed the learned State Counsel to obtain instruction in respect of the Encroachment Case No.4-100 of 2021. 3.

Today on being instructed Mr. Mahapatra, learned State Counsel submitted that the proceeding vide Encroachment Case No.4-100 of 2021 has already been concluded on 4.03.2021 after observing that the Petitioner is not a landless person and that too she has to pay a fine of Rs.3,000/-. It is also submitted that in the

// 2 // meantime the Petitioner has already vacated the disputed land in question.

Keeping in view the above statement made by Mr. Mahapatra, learned State Counsel, this Court finds, nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon by this Court any further, which is, hereby, disposed of.
