This Court records the statement of Mr. R.P. Mahapatra, Order No.

learned Additional Government Advocate that the Petitioner herein is already involved in an encroachment proceeding vide E.C. No.118 / 2018, which has already been disposed of on contest taking into account the request of the Petitioner for settlement of the land in question, however rejecting her such prayer on the premises that even though the Petitioner is a landless person, but the land involved herein could not be settled in her favour as the land is reserved for otherwise purpose.

Considering the submission made by Mr. R.P. Mahapatra, learned Additional Government Advocate and keeping in view that there is already observation by the Tahasildar that the Petitioner is a landless person, this Court directs, in the event the Petitioner is still landless and if she is interested for settling any other land in her favour,

// 2 // it would be open to the Petitioner to approach the competent authority in appropriate proceeding under law for the same purpose. 3.

With the aforesaid direction the writ petition stands disposed of.
