Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to settle the land in respect of Hal Plot No.1929 Ac.0.04 decimals (homestead) under Hal Khata No.600 (Rakhita) of Mouza-Ganja, P.S. Rajkanika, District-Kendrapara in favour of the petitioner and further to issue direction to opposite party no.3 to dispose of his representation under Annexure-4 series and take a decision following the provisions contained in OPLE Act within a stipulated period.

The petitioner, being a landless person, claims for settlement of Government land in his favour. Therefore, this Court directs the petitioner to file an application in prescribed form for settlement of the Government land before opposite party no.3, who shall consider and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.

With the above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
