The Petitioner in this writ petition seeks to assail the seizure of his vehicle bearing Registration No.OR-09-G-4617 (Truck).

Mr. Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate, on instruction, submits that the vehicle has been seized by the IIC, Marshaghai Police Station, Kendrapara-Opposite Party No.3 for carrying morum without any valid permit, which is a minor mineral.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event, the Petitioner appears before the Tahasildar, Marshaghai-opposite Party no.4 and files an application for release of his vehicle as aforesaid, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
