1. This matter taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

3. In this CRLMP, the Petitioner challenges the action of the Opposite Party No.3/IIC, Badagada P.S. in not registering the F.I.R despite the direction issued by the Collector, Ganjam vide its letter/direction dated 14.10.2022 against the accused persons who have committed offence under Sections 294/363/506/420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to appear before the I.I.C., Badagada Police Station within a period of ten days from today. In the event, the petitioner approaches, the said IIC shall take a decision on the

// 2 // written report in accordance with law, keeping in the mind the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari v. Govt. of U.P. & Others1 within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if cognizable offences are made out.

5. Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
