This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to the R.T.O., Bhubaneswar-1-Opposite Party No.3 to accept the arrear tax as well as onetime tax in respect of vehicle bearing Registration No.OR-02-BD-2037 (Bolero) and to issue notice under Section 13(2) of the Odisha Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1975 (for short 'the Act').

In course of hearing, Mr. Pani, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that interest of justice will be best served, if the Petitioner approaches the R.T.O., Bhubaneswar-1 to ventilate his grievances.

In view of the above, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the Petitioner disposes of this writ petition with a direction that in the event the Petitioner files an application along with certified copy of this order before R.T.O., Bhubaneswar-1-Opposite Party No.3 to accept the outstanding tax as well as onetime tax in respect of the vehicle bearing Registration No. OR-02-BD-2037 (bolero), he shall consider the same and pass
// 2 // a reasoned order thereon as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks therefrom.
